for our film, we have decided to do a thriller because it is a serious film and we can have a variety of camera angles, and we wanted a chase scene and this genre fits the opening. we decided that there will be two officers chasing a criminal, and this could only work in the thriller. we have a lot of different camera angles in the chase, and they would not really be suitable in a comedy, so we are using them in the thriller instead. we also looked at other chase scenes, such as James bond and taken, and almost all of them are parts of thrillers as well. this made us decide to choose a thriller, and we now have the story and the camera angles set out.
